Beautiful Hand-Drawn Platformer Aaru’s Awakening Gets Demo

Do you like platformers? How about wonderfully unique art styles? Then you need to take a look at what Lumenox, the small indie team from Iceland, is doing with Aaru’s Awakening.

The game asks players to travel through four beautifully hand-rendered zones: Day, Night, Dusk, and Dawn. Each area features its own unique style and theme, and players will encounter and do battle with many different types of evil enemies stirring within the zones.

The upcoming title also features its own lore and narrated, hand-drawn cut-scenes. While still in development, Lumenox has released a demo for players to check out in the meantime. If you like what you see, feel free to support their submission to Steam Greenlight.

Be sure to watch the trailer, and stay tuned to Fate of the Game for more.
